Hi,
If your laptop is under warranty contact Dell as either your LCD connector is loose or is about to break. if its not under warranty get it changed from a local store bestbuy or staples. it will not cost much.

How to get bios administrative password for dell latitude D630 system number 875XYH1-595B BIOS REVISION A17

there is only two ways to get this pasword. 1 you must use the reset disk that came with your computer or 2. if you do no have this disk you need to contact dell and have them send you one without it you cant do anything. if you take it to someone they are just ging to do this and charge you a lot making it seem like it is hard to do and its an easy fix.

MY Dell Latitude continuously gets doulbe or ghost images over-lapping. It was crashing, but has not done so recently. What's going on?

Hi, First I would check your connections and make sure they are secure. This would include the connection to the screen itself.
The D630 runs a NVidia graphics card. There has been a huge failure rate with this card. There have been several class action lawsuits in this matter.
Again check your connections, and I would backup my documentsI once owned a d630 and it started with the screen acting "kooky" then it would go several weeks with no problem. Then it started with weird shapes and lines until the screen would no longer turn on.

I have dell d630 it turn on but not display anything what is the problem

If the unit powers up and it seems to work except for the screen, hook a external monitor to the video output usually on the back, if picture is present! the laptop has issues. But if both screens show the same symptom the problem is in the video graphics card.

Hi...after swithcing on my dell laptop i am able to hear the soud (bo0t)...but i am not able to see anything..its showing a blank screen and i am not able to see mouse pointer also...please help me with...

There may be many different factors here. Lets start with the basic and work up from here.

1. Pull the battery and unplug the laptop from the wall, wait for 10min and replace battery and plug into wall, Does is start up?

2. When you hit the power button to start the laptop you said that there is a beep but that is it, Do the Hard drive indicator light blink/stay solid while this is going on?

3. When you start the laptop and after it beeps try to take a flash light and shine it on the screen, Do you see anything?

Let's start here and then go forward.

My dell d630 won't show anything on the screen, it only lights up but then the next moment it will be fine and everything works fine please let me know if anyone have any idea where the problem might be

Hi. You can Run the Dell Diagnostics to determine the source of issue by pressing the Fn key and Power button at the same time.

Wait until the Dell Diagnostics appear.

If the Dell diagnostics doesn't come up, your motherboard needs replacement.
