Let me try to explain this better ...if you were looking at you monitor normally the red x is in the right hand corner..mine is now in the seft hand corner on its side, and now then the e is at the bottom of the monitor on the left side, across from that in the far right iws the windows circle the symbol for windows..the monitor turned left 1/4 of the way if it turned 1/4th more it would be totally upside down. Do you understand now??? I guess I was not explaining correctly, sorry. Nancy

Try the following:

Just like a ctrl-alt-del except press ctrl-alt-up arrow (on some video cards and/or tablet pc's, ctrl-alt-down arrow flips it upside down. ctrl-alt-left and right arrows also rotate the screen.

My screen has turned 90 degrees to the right and i cant fix it... i used the keyboard and must have pressed a couple of buttons together but now its gone stupid please can you tell me what buttons to press...

Usually, if you have an Intel graphics card (Most of these come onboard a Motherboard) then you have pressed Ctrl-Alt Left or Ctrl-Alt-Right. Try Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Up or Ctrl-Alt-Down. This should put your screen back to the right rotation.

To disable this, there should be a blue monitor icon in the bottom right hand status bar. You can disable the keyboard shortcuts by right clicking on that icon and selecting disable shortcuts (or something like that)
