Question about Cameras
What I woud recommend you to do is to make sure that the batteries is fully charge before you turn the device on...If that doesnt work you can try to contact the manufacturer to see if they are willing to replace the device for you...Please go to their site for more details..the site is http://www.vivitar.com

Reset the camaera as below
1.0 Remove any power supply to the camera including any plug from main socket.
2. Remove battery from the camera.
3. leave it for about 15 min.
4. assemble the battery/power supply
turn it on again.....
