If you can't get a free replacement, try replacing the capacitors in the clock module. It solved the problem for me for a similar clock module. More information here:

Hi,
It's called an "Oven Clock Control" Board; for my model of Jennaire, it was part # 71003401.  Do a Google search on that part number and you'll see what it is.  HOWEVER:  it totally depends on your specific model, as that control board is different across different models.  If you call Jennaire and tell them what you need, they should be able to get the right part for you.  And, as I noted in my last posting, tell them that this problem is rampantly posted all over the internet (which is true), so it's clear that this is a defect and you want a free replacement.  I was successful with that approach even though I was outside the warranty.
And, you can replace this part fairly easily yourself.  Takes a few minutes to figure out how to open up the panel, but once you do it it's pretty easy.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E0 on your kitchen aid means that the keypad is shorted and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the electronic range control/clock (ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Jenn-air svd48600 display dimmimg and will not heat.

The problem lies with the circuit boards. However, I'm not sure it's with the control/relay board or the display board. More likely the former one, but again, I'm not sure.

Digital readout blinks

Hello , I can help with this issue , When your display fades or flashes it is the first sign of your control board going out. The control powers your digital screen and they are very common to fail. If you have the model with the controls in the back top of unit against the wall it is basic to replace the board yourself , if you have the controls in the front of the unit it is more advanced to get into but is still possible. [controls meaning screen & burner knobs.]
A good place to order is sears parts. be sure to use your model off the oven its self. Please let meknow if you have anymore questions. Phil

Further inspection found that the ribbon got damaged during the re-instalation of the clock board. A new front control board had to be ordered and installed.

It's a bad capacitor on the clock/display board. The solution was posted elsewhere in FixYa. I had the same problem and was told I should replace the clock/display board, which would solve the problem, but costs about $150 plus labor. If you can desolder/solder small components on an electronic circuit board, you can fix this yourself. Mine was capacitor C3, originally a 68uF 35V component. I replaced it with a 68uF 63V as the closest one I could find at Jameco.com which was less than a $1. Lo and behold, my clock/display is back to normal! Saved a lot of money to fix it myself and I know it will happen again over time, so I know exactly what to do next time.

Dim Panel Lites

Only fix is to replace display board. This may be a seperate board, but often is part of the range control board.
