Question about D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router
Keeps saying limnited or no connectivity
This can be a bit tricky if you're not computer savvy or have a more complex network situation. Firstly, reset the wireless router back to factory defaults as per the manual's instructions. Plug your computer's network cable directly into one of the router ports. check if your computer's network card has been assigned with "Obtain IP Address automatically" (for XP/Win2000 go Start,settings, network connections, click on your local area connection for the card you're connected to, then click properties, then double click on internet protocol). Once your computer has received an ip address you should then be able to connect to the wireless router via a web browser by typing http://192.168.0.1 (for example, enter the ip address stated in the user manual for the router). The unit should then prompt for a user name and password, by default I belive the user name / password is 'admin' and 'admin'. The user manual may also have some more helpful hints too.
