Question about Dell Inspiron 9100 Notebook
Hi, you have symptoms of a failing video card. It is onboard integrated in the mainboard of the laptop and cannot be replaced. Normally caused by constant overheating. Get a compressed air cannister and blow the holes and air vents under the casing (while laptop is OFF). This is just remedial. Also try using an external monitor (VGA) just for comparison.

You can get into BIOS to check if its a Drivers issue...
If you dont see the lines in the BIOS then reintall the drivers the issue will be fixed..
