Question about Citizen Watches
HI, I have a Citizen Promaster Watch Model# C112. I have just replaced my battery and apprently the watch needs some sort of ''reset'' after changing the battery.
The previous dealer who changed for me (2 years ago) figured it out after toying with it for a couple of days. Now that I went back to him - he can't remember how to do it all. I have tried 5 other shops and none of them know - they just replaced the battery and when they don't see any display, their response is ''Your watch is dead''... which is definitely not. Please help me!!!!!!!!!
Mcdevito75 here, You should be able to get some help online at citizenwatchserv.com in the meantime you can try to press and hold in the MODE button, press and hold it in for a couple of seconds. Also< IO wouldn"t be surprised if the battery has to come out and installed again, same new battery just simply have it taken out and put back in, maybe some sort of re-set. Check out the website, don"t do anything till then.
