i have an Aopen DVD combo drive, I have tried to burn dvds but I can not, can you please help?

You know it was burning before but now I can't. Could you know that cause of that?

If it is a combo drive then you cannot burn DVD's with it.
A combo drive can burn CD's and play DVD's

If it is a burner, then install Nero and burn DVD's with that. But as above, if it says it's a COMBO drive, then it can't.

If it was burning DVD's then it is a DVD burner, not a combo drive.
Install the latest edition of Nero, it fixes alot of problems that people are having with burning since it uses it's internal system to burn rather then the Windows version.

Absoloutly anything could have happened to it though. It could even be a hardware fault in the drive. Electronics do not last forever I'm affraid. =) No one would buy new stuff if they did.
