Once upon a time coffee was spilled on a wired keyboard and this mechanic I knew took the keyboard out of its case, poured water on it , and let it dry for a day or two.

Then he reinstalled it and it worked!

I am not saying that this solution will work for you, but the Beer may be causing the keyboard buttons not to work.

Good luck on this repair.

Beer spill on wireless keyboard

Usually if you try you can recover it ..but it may have permanent damages and some of the keys not work proper..You need to open it up ..and clean the plastic sheets inside ..with water ..and after that to dry them well with cold air ..The issue is that the beer is sticky when dries out and keep those plastic sheets either in permanent contact or not at all ..but the keyboard may be still functional ..
I had recovered keyboards from this kinda faults before ..pay attention on the electric part not to damage it ..and be patient as in brain surgery ..

My laptop turned completely black it says its on but its not doesn't load someone spilled beer on the bottom of my laptop what do i do???

If: the computer turn on, keyboard lights turn on, then screen goes black, then keyboard doesn't work, then unfortunately, I'm 99% sure the beer short-circuited the motherboard, which is an expensive fix and can range anywhere from $30 - $80 for a new one (plus the money for a techie expert to install this all for you). Sorry man, it happened to my laptop too :(

Will no longer pair with bluetooth on computer, bluetooth light functions on keyboard and bluetooth on computer works with other items. Some beer was spilt on it 2 weeks prior but a quick drying and air...

Well the problem which you are facing is due to spill of beer on the keyboard. As the beer entered its circuit it might have damaged the bluetooth IC and disallowing it to work. While the light of the bluetooth is still on because current is flowing where as the IC is not functioning!

What if i have spill beer on my dell inspiro lattop

Not good to do... ANY liquid splilt onto a computer can cause severe damage to it. If this happens, unplug the computer, remove the battery inspect the components extensively, making sure to dry everything off and let it air out before you try to power it up again. liquid can collect in places you can not see , so you MUST be vigilant about drying it out.

Some letters can't be typed

You need to replace the whole keyboard since the 4 letters is not working at all. You cannot change only 4 letter keys from your laptop.

Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.

Dell Latitude cpx

Try to connect and external keyboard to it
with the external monitor.
If the shortcut is in the keypads where most off the beer propably came in contact.
will now be seen if its boots up.
If it boots up with external keyboard the ptoblem is in the beer soaked keyboard.
change or clean the keyboard with isoprophanol
to dissolve moisture and beer.
This is the solution. Please vote!!!
