Yamaha reciever rx-v363
Surround sound having problems getting sound to work.Have hdmi hook ups.I am connecting reciever to blu-ray sony bdp-s1 for surround sound.TV is sony 40 inch xbr2 lcd.I know hdmi cables are hook up right and speakers too,not sure about reciever settings.can you help? also this model is not being reconized.

- I have the same problem, however, I have an additional audio cable but what if the dvd and receiver do not offer the same type of digital jacks? I have a digital audio out jack on my dvd and my receiver has optical jacks for cd and dtv/cbl and only a a coaxial jack for dvd digital imput - mhc4545Nov 09, 2008
