Well I have a Mitsubishi WS-65413 65 in. Rear Projection Television and when I power it on in the morning it looks as if the picture on the bottom of the screen is bending and parts of the picture "double up" but like the person above me said after it gets warmed up it goes back to normal but every 3 or 4 hours it might get messed up for a min...Anyways: Is it the picture tube going out?? If so how does anyone know how much it would cost to repair/replace & What is a "Convergence Module"?? I don't know if my T.V has one of those or not but if it doesnt is that the problem perhaps?? Please help me or ill be forced to go outside... :-( ..... thanx 4 the help ppl!! -

SOURCE: convergence problem
If all you replaced were the ICs, then you need to check the area for small pico fuses that are probably open as well. These are inline with the power supply to the ICs. They may be marked as F9A01 through F9A06. Replace these as needed and update this with your results.

SOURCE: TV will not come on
The flashing LED may be telling you the source of the problem; note the relative spacing of the flashes and the number of times it flashes before staying off. The set is trying to tell you where it is sick but I suspect it is related to the power supply; the most common failure point of most modern sets. If you post back here as a 'comment' you won't have to repeat your symptoms.

There is no "reset" as the set has in the customer and tech menus ways to attempt to manually adjust this.
under convergence in the customer menu select advanced and follow the instructions on the screen.
If Red or Blue or Green are skewed and will not adjust it means one of the two STK-394-250 CONVERGENCE chips this set uses is bad.
Depending on where you buy them they will range in price from about 12 dollars each to nearly 35 dollars each.
Let me know what you find; this may or may not be a do it yourself repair as some real expertise is required to correctly get at and replace the chips.
