Generally you are better off having it replaced, unless you know someone that is handy at mechanical repairs, there might be a chance to fix it.

Tip

Get a Tech?

You know that's always my advice anyway. Some things can be fixed, and are straight forwards but I have been doing this all now for over 30 years and I still get stumped... A lot of faults aren't just straight forwards and are often "Chain" faults, meaning you MUST fix the source of the problem NOT the "Symptom" and repairs often must be made to "Other" seemingly unaffected areas, to stop other faults developing from the "Stress" the faulty components have placed on support componentry. Many times I cringe when I think of people working inside things that operate on the Mains.. especially Microwaves, more tech's are killed each year by these than any other single thing. Followed by TV sets.So yes you are right.. It may cost you but.. The woman complained as she watched me fix her device, she said I saw you, all you did was hit it with a hammer.. and you charged me $100, Well,NO, madame was my reply. I didn't charge you $100 to hit it with a hammer, No, I charged you $1 to hit it with the hammer, and $99 to know WHERE to hit it. 'Nuff said.

1. Flexible joint at base of cleaner. 2. Fixed pipe connected to 1. above

Your question is under the Microwave Faults heading and clearly it is not a microwave fault.
You don't mention a make or model and only half a line of the fault is shown.
Please set up a fresh query.
Thank you.

The push button to open the door does not engage door, so door does not open

in most cases this is due to a snapped of push bar as they are made of plastic its a common fault. if the push bar is not snapped then its lost a plug that holds it in. as the microwave holds a constant 1000 watts of power i always recommend to people to have them fixed by lic techs the repair cost for this fault is around $ 100 if the part is still available

hop this helps please rank advice below

My microwave just stop running while trying to re heat . how im going to fix it. is their any reset button

in most cases the reason for microwaves shutting down without warning is the fuse. in some cases the fuse will fail at its own fault. to test the fault we would do a tollerence test on the unit. but the best way for you to test it is to replace the ceramic fuse with another of the same value. if the unit works then its a faulty fuse. if the unit blows the fuse then the unit has a fault in the power supply that needs to be repaired by a service tech.

best of luck

My microwave won't power up

if buy you mean there is no power check the fuse replace with same if it blows toss it in the bin. microwaves have many high power devices that makes them expensive to fix. in some cases fuses blow through there own fault but if replaced and they blow again its a in bread fault that needs to be fixed by a pro tech

godd luck hope this helps you

The clock seems to loose approximately 4 minutes over a period of 12 hours.

You haven't specified which Whirlpool model you have, so I can only give a general answer which would apply to the same fault on any device with an electronic clock.

The only fix is to have the timer circuit replaced.

It's a solid state timer and non-adjustable, but can become inaccurate if the oscillator crystal goes out of tolerance. Considering the billions of timer circuits manufactured, there are remarkably few which suffer this fault, so you've just been unlucky.

Panasonic Inverter NN-V673S microwave- shuts off after 2-30 secs

If the screen is showing a fault number or a number you havent seen before then its probably a program fault which can't be fixed. Check that the vent holes on the back of the oven aren't dirty and ensure that the whole oven is clean inside. Sadly it sounds like a program fault which cant usually be fixed by the owner though.
Finding a Panasonic oven repairer in the UK shouldnt be a problem though. My parents had a simlar problem wth their Panasonic Inverter oven, called the UK customer services and Panasonic contacted an authorised repairer in Scotland to visit them. Call customer services on 0844 844 3868.
If the call out charge exceeds £80 then you're probably better off buying a new oven.
