First try disconnecting from the AC outlet and waiting for about 2 mins, this will allow the system to reset, If this does not help then you have a power supply problem. If this is a LCD unit there are two capacitors that go bad on the Pwr Supply that needs replacing, Check the power supply for buldging capacitors on their tops, they are rated at 1000uf 10v replace them with 1000uf 16V caps..
