Cav8 Cam Hi, I've got one of those cams, and I just can't seem to find the software for it. Do you know where I can get any of such? The P/N number is 861092-0020. Hope you can help me.

first check the settings on your operating system;
volume may have lowered;
uninstall all the old web cam softwares.;
in your current web cam settings select your web cams microfone and check everything of it i.e. input or output device etc.;
remove your head fones.

GO AND SEARCH THE DRIVER SOFTWARE IN THE GOOGLE SEARCH. BY TYPING THE MODEL NUMDER LOGITECH WEB CAM SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD. EVERY MODLE HAVE CERTAIN NUMBER.

TYPE IT AND DOWNLOAD IT.

AND INSTALL IT IN UR COMPUTER....

Go to ask.co.uk and type in your modle number in the search box and it should list the software for you. once you have located the software than its the matter of installing the drivers on you comuter system.

unknowns are hard see if logitech has any pic if cams try one similiar. sometimes your computer will reconigonize the model after you plug it in. ask logitech about p/n 861095 maybe they can match the part with the cam

Try connect the webcam to your computer, it wll detect the device, note down the device name it display towards the right bottom of your screen.
Then with this device name, brows google and enter device name + 'driver' in the search field click the search button.
U will be provided with numerous sites where from u can down load the driver for ur device.
