The Braemar heater I have is wired directly to the control unit. The only way to reset the time is to turn of the heater for 5 minutes - the remote display should clear, and turn it back on (takes a minute for remote to come back on) the time will be flashing - use the Up and Down arrows to set the time, and SET button to set the day of week.

I had the simple 2 wire control panel (basic) installed with my Braemar Ecostar. It replaced a Vulcan CX90 unit which had a 6-wire control panel. I only used 2 wires out of those 6 initially...but then I bought a Filtrete 3M WiFi thermostat controller off eBay and wired that up with just 2 wires initially...then figured out how to wire up the 24vac to power the wifi function...it's only about $100 delivered and I'm loving it.

Check the remote batteries.are they weak or very old.Or may be the remote button circuit is faulty.actual procedure is to press the set button and change the settings and select the required settings and make changes and set button again to save changes. But id set button is not functioning. Then remove and replace the battery in remote also replace the battery and recheck. Thanks.

my husband has removed the remote from holder, the back looks like you can place batteries in however it has a think that looks like a phone plug connection with red green lack and white wire that plug into the wall.
    Thanks

Braemar spectrolink reset error 05

I had the fault code 05 (spectrolink controller) recently on a Braemer TG420 ducted heater. The heater would start and cut out on high temp as the room fan was not starting. I checked under the house and found the cable fitted to the return air thermistor had been chewed. I repaired the section of cabling and restarted the unit and it worked fine. Fault Code 05 is to do with the Thermistor in the return air duct.

Look for the error code on the right hand side of the display above the zone section and below the actual temp displayed.... refer to:

My ducted heater is not working. It fires up initially but when it comes time to run the fan it just goes into wait and stays like that. It is a braemar te430. Any ideas?

Sounds like the limit or fa switch. To be sure which one, e- mail the manufacture for wiring diagram or specs. Thank-you-very-much!

Wiring a Honeywell Deluxe Programmable Thermonstat

did you mark which terminals you removed the wires from on the old stat? If not you will need to look on the furnace and see what letters they are connected to .. then connect to the same on the thermostat.
