Problem for LG KU990 Viewty
Touch Screen not working
I have problem with my LG KU990 that my touch screen not working when I want write message using keyboard ( buttons caps Lock, z, x, c, v, b, n, m and space not function) and also buttons 'back' went using came mode. I aslo has been trying to reset settings or Touchpad calibration in phone settings but still not fix that problem. Please help me....

My first Viewty went like this and I contacted Orange and apparently they said it is a known fault. They had to send me a new one out as they couldn't mend it.

Well, my phone is having the same problem. I bought mine off ebay and have no service providor in the US to help me. Has anyone found a solution?

Calibration of the screen went this morning and when pressing, the items selected are usually 2 options above where i am pressing which makes it impossible to press the bottom keys entirely. Thoroughly annoying. Reset manually but still to no avail. Cant get back in to reset the calibration.

The touchscreen is totally unresponsive at times; at other times it's pretty good. Presently, it's frozen and the touchscreen calibration does nothing to eliminate the problem; neither will it be fixed by shutting off the phone or taking out the battery. More often than not I have serious problems with the touchscreen. It makes for a very, very poor investment. Quite often I can't even make a simple telephone call because the screen is unresponsive. Text messaging is simply not possible either. Thoughts? Or is it just a bad operating system?
