Question about Hitachi Televison & Video
Thanks for using FixYa. The issue seems to be with poor or loose connections of the IC you replaced. Please check and verify all the connections. I am assuming that sound on your TV is working and you are unable to view any picture on the TV screen.
Make sure that the focus lead is connected firmly (a wire going towards the focus block, in the front of TV set). Please be very careful while checking this as it contains a very high voltage of charge on it (between 10-30 KV). If this wire is fine then please check if you can hear any crispy or crackling sound from the inside of TV set. If yes then it's due to loose connections on the flyback transformer. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
