How do you install sims livin large expansion pack . i put the game in the computer and it said nothing about play or install so i took the game out and then it said you have to reinstall the game to play how do i install it

Well put sims 3 expansion pack in and then make sure you have sims 3 then just open the expansion pack

Usually you play the sims with expansions by using the game disk of the last expansion you installed. Superstar definitely is supposed to have 2 disks and disk 1 is probably the one you need. I know eBay has several full copies for sale under $5 including shipping. Amazon does too.

as this is just an expansion pack, it comes with extra items for sims 3, there is no gameplay to it. this means that you must have a full game of the sims 3 already installed. you cannot play it on its own.

There is no need for the original sims. Double deluxe already includes the original game, plus 2 expansions:The Sims Livin' Large and The Sims House Party. It also includes The Sims Creator, which is a tool used to create and customize sims.

your problem may be a graphics card issue. Did it work with the expansion packs or start problems when you installed the expansions?

Try uninstalling the orignal and expansion pack. If you have any other expansion packs uninstall them aswell. Install it all from scratch. If the problem doesnt subside, check your System Requirements, it may be that your computer doesnt support the data from Sims2.

Make sure you have the original The Sims 2 game, Seasons,Freetime and Apartment Life are just expansion packs to the Original Game. Without the original game the expansions won't work.

If that's not the problem, then make sure they are installed correctly. If you used download m, most likely theyanagerare corrupted.


(Plus just as an extra question, why were you trying to play The Sims 2 a day before The Sims 3 came out, I couldn't sleep.)

You must install the expansion packs in a semi-fluid order. That is, there was an order they were released and for best results, you should install them in the same order.

The above site is the order of the expansions. Keep in mind, it starts at the top and goes down (oldest at top, newest at bottom). You must use the latest most expansion pack's disc to play. That means, if the last expansion pack you have is "Seasons", you will need to use that disc to play the game.

Due to copyright laws, I'll be unable to assist you in how to play the game without the need of the discs but in essence, the above information will at least get the game installed with the expansions in the proper order. You and your friend may just be unable to play the game at the same time.

Copy the neighborhood files and put them into documents then when you uninstall and reinstall move the files back in merge them and you will have all your towns.
