Check to see why it is making noise. look at the fan while it is spinning DO NOT INSERT YOUR HANDS and see if you can see what the fan is hitting and why it would be hitting whatever it is hitting could be the shaft onthe motor is maybe bent or a blade is bent on the fan blade itself or maybe something fell into the fan and that might be makin the noise hope this helps

SOURCE: 720 EF Fan oven fan making a scrreching noise now

It could be that cooking residue has run down the inside of the fan cover and it is restricting the fan movement. The fan cover is held on by four self tapping screws, one on each corner. Remove the cover and have a look to see if there are any rub marks on the inside. You should be able to remove some of the gunge by soaking the the whole cover in hot soapy water. If that doesn't work, buy the Lakeland brush on oven cleaner - that definitely works - you can use it on all of the inside of the oven. Whilst the cover is off, briefly turn the oven on to see if the fan still makes the same noise. If it does, it looks like the fan bearings are suspect and a new fan may be required. If not you have found the problem with the cover. Page 37 of the Handbook tells you how to replace the circulating fan.

Noise when oven running and stops when oven stops

Is it a convectional oven? If so, this is the fan turning on to circulate the heat. Being an electric oven, there really shouldn't be any noise whats so ever when on. I suspect your have a convectional oven and the fan is making the noise...either because it is working fine...or because its not and needs to be replaced.

My Candy TC21 oven makes a vibrating noise when on, why is that?

Hi,

There are only 2 moving parts in your oven when it is running - the fan and the fan motor. If a bearing is worn or the fan blade is damaged, this can cause vibration. However, the actual noise could be could be coming from some other part of the oven which is insecurely fixed, e.g a panel, internal shelf, the oven/grill element - pretty much anything!

Basically, the fan/motor causes the vibration and a loose part causes the noise.

Hope this helps.

BElectric

to find out which one it is and just replace . then should be back to normal

Oven makes a noise when I turn it on.

If it is a fan assisted oven , then it sounds like a noisy oven fan.
It could be a worn or dry bearing in the fan motor. if you open the oven door , you should be able to tell if it is the fan by listening to it carefully.
The other possibility is if it has a cooling fan in the back or on the top of the oven, it could also be that causing the prob, these are about the only things that could be making a noise, as there are no other moving parts that could make a noise.
PLz rate my solution.

Thanks.

Zanuisi top oven making noise

Yes , there is a cooling fan located at the top of the oven
It could be the fan blades catching, or a noisy fan bearing.
You would have to access it by removing the top oven cover to check., and yes it could be as a result of having it cleaned.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
