F&P Dishwasher Fault

Most likely you have fault code E1 which means door is not shut properly. It is likely the door springs need adjustment as the door might be opening mid cycle.

Dishwasher contuallycuts out through entire run cycle

Hi Andrew - Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. Wait roughly ten minutes and turn on the dishwasher. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: wiring failure, damaged cord, faulty door latch assembly or control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Why does my dishwasher keep popping open during a cycle?

Hi, the problem is that there was too much resistance to the door closing. You have to pull off all the rubber gasket that press against the door, clean it well, re-installed it and the resistance will go. It's a easy permanent fix, just do not stretch the gasket as you put it back in.

Kitchenade Dishwasher. Door keeps popping open during cycle. replaced both the springs and cable in door. door locks but then pops open during cycle.

Try adjusting the door catch, this is the hook that comes out from the top of the machine and clips into the door switch when closed, it can be adjusted further out by loosening the screw. If not then you may need to replace the door switch. This is done by unscrewing th front panel and removing it. The switch is held on by 2 screws and 2 wires. Hope this helps.

The door will not close. It appears that the lock is in the closed position and will not allow the catch to close fully and engage. The m/c is mid cycle so I have switched off at the main socket

Check for obstructions, Check the door latch the latch may have moved into its housing, use a screw and position the door latch properly free from any obstruction, then try closing the door again..if not then you may need to replace the door.hope this helps pls do let meknow

put two small screwdrivers in each side of the latch and lever upwards (best way) or otherwise take the door outer panel and fascia off so you can get at them

Switch off at the mains. Take a side panel off and tip your dishwater over 45degrees towards th open side. Make sure you put towels down to soak up the water that will come out of the base. This will reset the flood detector. Reassemble. Switch back on and let the dishwasher finish its cycle and away you go. Remember this does not solve the reason for the flooding but it will get your dishwasher going again. Depending on the cause of flooding you may only need to reset like this once a year.

Can't close Bosch Dishwasher door

I had same problem and was alarmed at the idea of taking the door apart, so I tried the 2 screwdriver option described below - it works!

Open door and get two small screwdirvers behind each side of the catch inside the top of the door and gently apply pressure. The catch should reset itself on 'open' and allow you to shut the door again.

Thanks to all for their postings and helpful advice!
