You will need to open the laptop, remove the keyboard and underneath their is a covering. Remove the covering and you will see rtc battery and a dip switch with four white buttons that can be positioned to on and off. First disconnect the rtc battery from the motherboard and then move the third button to the on position. Power on and the password will be removed. Power off the laptop. Reconnect the rtc battery and slide the third dip switch button back to the original position. is it completely black or very dark screen ?
if it is completely black, try to reseat memory first, if this is not working, it's look like your motherboard or cpu have problem.
If it is dark screen, it might be your lcd inverter is bad.
