What browser are you currently using?

Are you using Internet Explorer?

Try using a different browser it may work better for you or you can try starting Internet Explorer in safe mode to see if it is a plug-in that is hanging up the website.

Follow the instruction with in this link to start Internet Explorer in safe mode: Knowledge Base

If the website functions has expected under safe mode you will need to deactivate the problem plugin or just reset Internet Explorer. Here is a link on how to reset Internet Explorer: Reset Internet Explorer settings

If the above does not help you narrow down what is happening. Make sure that your computer is fully up-to-date, restart the machine, and see if the problem still occurs.

Let me know if that helps.

Cant open internet options

How to Open Internet Options
Each browser has a way to customize it, and you do it using Internet Options. With Internet Options, you can specify your privacy settings, security and your home page with a few clicks of your mouse. Knowing how to open Internet options is essential to preventing hackers from accessing your computer or keeping people from viewing your Internet history. Opening the window in Firefox, Internet Explorer, or with your computer's control panel is not a difficult task.
Instructions
Firefox
1 Launch the Firefox browser.
2 Go to the toolbar at the top of the browser and select "Tools."
3 Move the mouse pointer down the tool menu until you get to "Options." Click on that word. Your Firefox Internet Options will immediately open.

Internet Explorer
1 Launch the Internet Explorer browser.
2 Click on the "Tools" menu located on the tool bar, at the top of the browser.
3 Move the mouse cursor down that menu until you get to "Internet Options." Left click on those words. Your Internet Options window will immediately open.

Computer Control Panel
1 Go to the Start Menu.
2 Click on the "Control Panel."
3 Click "Network Internet Options." Then, Click "Internet Options." You will be able to change Internet Explorer options, but not those of other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome

Adobe flash player will download but will not install tells me it can't contact trackers when it gos to install on my desk top.i have windows xp with internet explorer 8

The downloader is having problems using it's peer to peer method of downloading the full install, you need to download the regular installer that doesn't use peer to peer.

For internet explorer = http://www.adobe.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_ie
For other browsers = http://www.adobe.com/go/full_flashplayer_win

im afraid the quickest/easiest solution would be to upgrade IE to the latest version which is 9 but i am not a big fan of IE and so i use mozilla firefox for my internet browser. its free, its smaller, uses less cpu,and in my opinion its far more stable. hope this helps but if you need anything else just ask:)

Hi, double click your internet explorer icon on your desk top; or click start button and click internet explorer. Once open, highlight your link by pressing the left click and holding and draging accross untill all the link is highlighted. Then right click over the highlighted link, select copy. I am with virgin broadband but to go onto the net i click on microsoft internet explorer which is provided by tesco. but how can i change this to virgin

tesco just put their logo on top of IE (I'm assuming you used to use tesco before virgin). you're still accessing through virgin now so should be no problem.

are you seeing any problems or is it just the annoyance of still seeing tesco in IE?

also what version of IE are you using?
