SOURCE: how to prevent wasps from

You have to catch them and neuter them. If they have no *** drive they will not mate and build nests. Get a very small set of snips and some good tweezers.

SOURCE: Hi. I have been seeing Wasps

Go to a hardware store and get Wasp Killer. This stuff shoots in a stream and really kills on contact. Shoot it in there and keep shooting and you should be ok. Shoot it in a safe area to see the stream that I'm talking about.

I have just purchased a house with bonaire ducted cooling...can i just turn it on...its not been used i guess since last summer..

there is no reason for not being able to just it on
If there are any problems it will not cool
before you do turn it on ,check the fan in front of the outside condenser ( both sides of the blades ) for mud wasps nests as that will through out the fan balance and make a lot of noise

Our new colman mam 3 airconditioner vibrates loudly on hi cool could you tell us what could cause this please kind regards Dennis

I'd remove cover on roof and observe (carefully, with breaker shut off inside) blades on condenser fan as well as blower while spinning slowly first, and look for possible bent blade on rear fan blades, or even a mudwasp nest on either. If it happened immediately after installation, perhaps the small weights on blower wheel have come off, or shifted. At worse you may have a faulty or loose mount or bad bearing in fan. If it's been running good for a while, probably a nest has been added. Careful when taking cover off, for wasps, or yellow jackets under cover. If not obvious when spinning slowly by hand, stand back and have someone turn it on to see if you can determine where trouble is when running on high.

I have a Patton Heater ( Brand New ) that was given to me. when I plug the heater in it lights up but the heater or fan does not come on. This heater has never been used. What could be causeing this?

Try spraying a LITTLE WD-40 on the fan bearings, with the heater unplugged, of course. You may have to remove the case to get access. Before you spray, try to spin the fan with your finger. Spray then try again with the finger. I think this will do it. If you don't have WD-40 ... try sewing machine or other light house hold oil.

Thanks for visiting today.

Can I keep wasps out of my garden. What can I do to stop wasps from being attracted to where we sit in the garden, They seem to like the umbrella on my garden table

Howdy:0 this may sound glib, but you may want a different umbrella. I have had a number of customers with this same issue. Often it is the color or the material that attracts them. Also, they are attracted to the smallest amounts of wine and beer ( like fruit flies), so any rings or spills on the garden table can attract. Lately we have sold a lot of fake hornet nests with very good customer reaction. Evidently, the nest fools the hornets into thinking they are in someone else's territory. I use a hornet trap a little distance from where I want to spend my outdoor time and find it to work well. Never squash a hornet in a place where you don't want them. They produce a pheremone that says "come help!" and you will have more, soon, How about that? I hope you find some part of this useful:)

Makes a loud bang when starting

You will need to pull your tray from the heater to check for Wasp nests or other problems. You need to be careful with the wasps if you smoke them out be very careful not to burn any wires or components on the heater. If you have access to a co2 fire extinguisher the cold and lack of oxigen will hold them at bay for a few minutes. Back to the heater...
Your dead on about the gas build up. This comes from something blocking your pilot so that your burner flame isn't lighting on the burner that is connected to the pilot. If you have a wasp nest on the burner this will do be the problem. I want to think that when the heater fires this would fix that problem. What is more common is on the gas pipe that feeds the burners you have a gas orface for each burner. Small spiders will sometimes build webs that resemble lint inside the orfaces. You can clean these with a bent wire.Other than that anything blocking the burners will be evedent. I hope this helps, good luck.
