Question about Craftsman 24 Hp 48" Deck Yard Tractor
I have problems going up hill either forward or backwards it feels like I'm spinning but I'm not. When it starts bothering if I slow down the speed it helps some but nothing like it use to do. I have purged it and checked to be sure the brake isn't holding and can't find anything wrong. Looked to see if I could find any way to be sure it has the right amount of oil but can't find anyway of checking this out. Can you give me any advice as to what to do. Thanks for your help. ****
The drive belt is probably slipping. Thanks for asking and I hope this helps out. Please leave me 4 thumbs up.

The belts on these are kept tight by a large spring and they do not loosen to slip. The simple, however unfortunate; fact is the trans-axle is going bad. There are no serviceable components on the trans-axle and it needs to be replaced. It is an easy but expensive fix. This is what the Sears service plans are for.
