Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

PS/2 Compatible Mouse driver (for touchpad) cannot be disabled. I dislike touchpads and always use a cordless external mouse. System check reports that the 'current version' PS/2 driver is installed....

try drivermax.com but go to uninstall/or remove programs to get rid of it first. Driver max updates 2 drivers free, per day and runs autocheck on your drivers condition. Just choose the mouse driver from the list as first..

Try reinstalling the touchpad driver.
You can download the touchpad and device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers. Please click on this link: -

My little sister pressed loads of buttons on my Laptop, Now my touchpad Is disabled.

To turn the TouchPad on and off, quickly double-tap the TouchPad off indicator. Usually on the left corner of the TP. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response Thanks, Joe

It is a common annoyances with netbooks and laptops which lack the disable touchpad button. Most blogs out there are covering a single method to disable the touchpad, i.e, go to Control Panel > Mouse Properties and then disable the touchpad from there.

The above method is not suitable for those who need to disable the touchpad frequently for short periods of time. Who in his/her right mind would navigate back and forth just to enable/disable touchpad? This could be quite a hectic process.
TouchFreeze is a brilliant little app that solves this problem. It disables the touchpad temporarily the moment a keystroke is pressed. In layman's term, it disables the touchpad automatically when you are typing and enables it back when the typing is stopped.
It will sit silently in the system tray without disturbing any of your work. Just start typing and don't worry about the touchpad any more.
touchfreeze.pngI prefer using this app even though my notebook has a disable touchpad button. Please note that this app might not work with certain laptops, but should work with most netbooks and laptops that lack the disable touchpad button.
Download TouchFreeze

Typing problem with keyboard

the easy method would be to hook up a USB mouse and disable the touchpad to see if that works. Control Panel -> Mouse (or Printers and other Hardware), then click on the mouse and then click on Advanced or Hardware tab to look at the options. You might be able to have it disable the touchpad when a mouse is present.

Turning Of The Touchpad

Solution:
To disable the Touchpad the Synaptics driver is necessary.
Please follow the steps below to disable the Touchpad:
After installing the Synaptics driver click on "Start -> system control -> mouse"
You´ll find the additional register card "Settings".
Mark the Touchpad and click on "Disable".

Now the USB mouse can be connected and the Touchpad remains deactivated.
Some Amilos don´t have a PS/2 port, therefore only a USB mouse can be used.
