Question about Ryobi Drills

1 Answer

I have a 14.4v Ryobi cordless angle drill which inexplicably stopped working. Had charged the batteries which I believe are fine and have cleaned the contacts in the battery compartment all to no avail. There is absolutely no life. Brushes appear OK . Any suggestions to try ,am reluctant to send to approved repairers who seem nowadays to charge for a repair estimate.

Do you have a multimeter to check the battery voltage? Also, you can check the function of the trigger, bypass it and see if the drill works.

Were to buy a Ryobi right angle drill/driver which takes the 18+ battery.

I don't know where you are located, but in the US, I believe that Home Depot is the exclusive retailer for Ryobi products.
