Cables seem to need adjustment. Or perhaps you switched them around. Put the control in neutral. No throttle. Disconnect both cables from the engine. In neutral the shift cable should be half way out. You can determine this by moving the control to forward then reverse to make sure(shift cable will retract and protrude fully when shifting). Reconnect shift cable to the motor when the motor is in neutral(prop spins free) Once connected put the throttle cable back. The throttle cable should be adjusted so that when in neutral and no throttle opening the butterfly valve on the carb should be fully closed.

Jazzy goes fast in forward slow in reverse

It is supposed to. Forward you can see where you are going and normal steering applies. In reverse, you can't really see where you are going and it is only for backing up. Also reverse steering applies, so you turn left to go right, which is confusing for old folks, especially at speed. In Forward, the throttle should be responsive, slow to fast.

My golden companion 2 Gc 321 goes forward when i push reverse and goes reverse when i push forward

Sounds like the motor cables are in reverse at the controller. Check that the red is in the positive and the black wire is in the negative on the controller.

Runs very slow speed forward or reverse. full chg battery

you may need to fit a new battery or the drive motor has burnt out?
if the battery is over 3 years old its past its sell by date and if its been ran fully flat often or left flat that will shorten its life as well,,,
the battery is not to pricy,, you could try testing the motor by hooking up with "jump leads" a car battery just to check the motor is ok,,,

Mercury 115 problems

This could me that reverse gear is not fully engaged.Adjustment on the cables is needed.Take the cowlings off. With the motor not running, move the throttle/gear selector into forward and reverse. You will see where the cables move in the engine area.Note which way the cable moves the selector when reverse is selected.Do this next bit from inside the boat.Hook up the flusher to the motor and start it.Select reverse. When you hear the grinding, push the selector by hand in the direction of travel. It should engage the gear fully. You will see the adjustment threads on the control cables.Move to suit.Hope this helps
