Hello,

I would advice you press and hold the stop button for 15 seconds and release, if the problem still surface after this, you will need to reset the printer, power off the printer and power on back, while the printer is booting, unplug the printer from the AC unit, wait a while and plug the printer back, this should clear the error message on your printer.

Take care.

    Hello,

    1. Turn off the printer and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

    2. Then power the printer back on.

      • If the error does not return, try printing a few print jobs. If the
error still does not return, continue using the printer as before but
keep an eye on it for the next few days. If the error does not return,
it may have been an isolated incident.

      • If the error does return, you can perform an NVRAM reset on the
        printer.Please do
this only as a last resort before requesting service. Resetting the
NVRAM on the printer will cause the printer to return all
customer-defined settings to the factory defaults. To perform an NVRAM
        reset:

        1. Turn off the printer.

        2. With the printer still off, press and hold the following three
buttons: Select, Go, and the right
arrow (>) Menu button. All three of these are
located on the printer's LCD screen.

        3. While holding the three buttons down, power on the printer.

        4. Continue holding these buttons until you see Performing Self
          Test, Clearing NVRAM, or Restoring
Factory Defaults on the printer's LCD screen. You can then
          release the buttons.

        5. If the error does not return on power up, continue using the printer
but keep an eye on it for the next week or two.

          • If the error does not come back, the printer should be fine.

          • If the error does return, the engine/system board
will most likely need to be replaced.
          Take care.

Hi! Please try this. Unplug the printer from power source then press hold the power button for 15secs. while unplugged, this should reset the printer's system. Plug the printer to power source, turn it on and see how it goes. Please write back on the progress. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

i am sorry but that solution cannot work for this model printer since the power button is not the push down type but rather the click-on - click-off type any other solution would be appreciated

    Thanks

Printer displays 917.00 print error. seems to be transfer roller. changed the transfer roller same error.

The exact definition of this error is "Problem with transfer-transfer servo start error"... NOT the transfer roller. The service manual directs you to the Transfer roll service check.

The service check tests for proper operation of the HVSP, system board, and sensors.

The most likely cause of your problem is the HVSP ( High Voltage Power Supply ).

Change the HVPS and you should be good to go!

How i can solve the 913 service motor error lexmark sc1275 my printer?

913 Transfer Roller Error
The printer fails to completely transfer the image to the paper or does not transfer it at all.
The image transfer roll does not lift when paper is passing over it.
Suspect either the transfer roller solenoid or transfer roller motor malfunction.
The printer would have to be professionaly serviced by authorized service centre.

Error code 917.00

Step Action 1 Turn off the printer and let the printer sit, powered off, for one minute. 2 Power the printer back on. 3 If the 917 error does not return on power-up, try printing a few pages. If the error does not return during printing, this may have been an isolated incident. Continue using the printer as before, but pay close attention to it for the next few days to see if the error returns. 4
If the error returns on power-up, as soon as you try to print, or re-appears at a later time, inspect the transfer roller. (Click the links in the steps below for images.)

  1. Turn the printer off.

  2. Open both the lower front cover and the upper front cover of the printer.

  3. Remove the toner cartridge and place it aside.

  4. Look at the transfer roller. Make sure nothing is stuck on the roller or wrapped around it. If you find any obstruction, try your best to remove it without damaging the transfer roller or knocking the roller loose.

  5. Make sure the transfer roller is not loose or damaged. If the roller is damaged, the roller will need to be replaced. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support or a local authorized service provider for further assistance.

  6. Spin the transfer roller. Make sure it spins freely.

  7. If the transfer roller appears to be fine, reinstall the toner cartridge and power the printer back on.

  8. Try printing again to see if the error message returns.

If the 917 error still will not clear, or if the error continues to occur intermittently, the printer will likely require service. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support or a local authorized service provider for further assistance. See Contacting Lexmark below for more information.

Lexmark t644 error code 917.00

This error indicates that there is a charging problem with the transfer roller. You could start by cleaning the contacts for the transfer roller (power off printer first). The transfer roller is the black foam-like roller under the toner cartridge. Handle it with paper because the oils on your hand could damage it. To remove it, just pry under the far left side with a screwdriver. Lift and pull to the left to remove. If this does not fix it, then you have a more serious problem. It could be one of the arms or the HVPS.
