No spark

To test the spark you will need a spark plug tester. Put one end of the tester on the spark plug and the other in the plug wire. Pull the cord and see if fire is there. If not you will need to replace the coil.

My son accidentally put straight gas in our gas weed wacker, now it won't start. drained gas and replaced with correct mix, still no go.

Try taking the spark plug out and spraying a little WD-40 in the hole and letting it set for a time. Then pull the cord slowly one time and then replace the spark plug and try to start.

Have a toro 51940 model gas weed wacker that just won't start. What's the most common reasons? I replaced the spark plug already!

Check and clean the air filter. That's always been my problem. Wash/dry add a drop or two of oil and work it in.
