There's not much that one can "upgrade" on a laptop.
You could install more RAM.
You could install a larger & faster disk-drive.
If you're running Windows XP, you could upgrade to Windows 7.
That's the only components that can be upgraded.

Usually, it is not possible to upgrade the cpu on a laptop. In rare cases where it is possible the upgrade usually costs nearly as much as a new laptop.
However, you can significantly upgrade the laptop's performance by adding more memory and by replacing the old slow hard drive.
Your Sony VGN-Z250 is usually supplied with 3GB of RAM memory. You can replace the existing memory modules with a new kit consisting of 2 x 2GB modules (total 4GB). The type of memory you need is "SO-DIMM" (meaning laptop size) DDR3 - 1066MHz (you may use 1333MHz memory but it will only run at 1066MHz speed). I would suggest either G-Skill or Crucial brand memory. And you can replace the hard drive with an SSD. You'll be amazed at the boost this provides, seriously. I would suggest either Samsung 840 EVO or Sandisk Ultra for an SSD. Both offer super-fast performance compared to your old spinning hard drive, and both have very low power consumption so they run cool and give your laptop a few extra minutes of battery power. You can clone/copy your existing Windows setup onto the SSD using free Macrium Reflect software or free software from the SSD maker's website. Or, you can do a fresh install of Windows.

My laptop keeps freezing its a dell latitude d610

If you are receiving virtual memory low errors then the first thing you should consider doing is upgrading your physical memory to prevent the use of virtual memory. You may also have too many applications running on the start up of your computer which will cause massive issues.
The D610 comes standard with 256mb of memory (unless you opt to upgrade at time of purchase). To upgrade this you may purchase memory by clicking here.
The above link is to newegg and using Kingston memory. This is reliable memory coming from a reliable distributor. I would suggest purchasing two of these chips to max your system out at 2GBs of memory (YOU MUST BUY 1GB CHIPS).
When you flip your laptop over there is a panel that should have an M or an icon that looks like a micro chip which you will remove. The memory banks will be under here. If you only see one under this panel then the other will be under the keyboard. To remove the keyboard you will find all the screws that are labeled with a K or a Keyboard icon then the Keyboard will lift off. Be careful not to disconnect the keyboard and just move it enough to install the memory (if you need to go under the keyboard at all).
This memory upgrade will resolve many of your memory related issues. If these issues do persist however then your computer may be overwhelmed at startup with various pieces of software launching and you will need your system optimized.

My laptop hp nx 9010 pages opening very slowly

YOU NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR MEMORY STICK OR BETTER STILL IF YOUR HARD DISK SPACE IS VERY LOW TRY AND UPGRADE ALL MEMORY BOTH YOUR HARD DISK SPACE AND MEMORY CARD ON YOUR SYSTEM IF ALL THIS DIDN'T WORK THEN THERE IS TOO MUCH OF VIRUS ON IT WHICH WILL CALL FOR RELOADING THE SYSTEM AS IN FORMATTING THE SYSTEM WITH A BOOTABLE DISK XP FOR RELOADING THE OPERATING SYSTEM.

My pc is vertual too low on memory. How can I fix it?

Virtual Memory can be adjusted in most computers but check out how much percentage ofactual memory you have used.  If you have used more than 75% of your actual memory, adjusting your virtual memory might not help. It sounds as if your pc is getting filled up with data.
When your computer is running out of memory it performs slowly and will not respond to normal functions at regular speed because it is spending time processing where and how much data go where and not just reading and writing to one area of the hard drive.  When it has plenty of memory to use operations go quickly and no memory messages appear.     This message you are getting is an indication that it is time to buy more memory for your computer.  If your machine is more than 5 years old, it is recommended that you upgrade to a new machine.  Older machines do not process information at the same speed as newer processors, so they are generally not as equipped to deal with software and media storage of today's standards.      The good news is memory is as cheap as it ever was.  You can buy external hard drives for increasingly less every month, so go to New Egg or Comp USA or 6th Avenue electronics or J&R Music World and start shopping for a Hard Drive that meets your needs.  A 100gb Drive will give you lots of usable memory and keep your processing speed up.  Be sure to buy a reliable brand (Lacie) and know how to mount and dismount the drive properly or you will have problems later on.

Vertual memory low

Hi,

You either need to add more physical ram to your computer or delete and make more room on your hard drive.
