From Canon's Site:
Issue: ERROR LCD: Error Code 5100
1. Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device 2. Remove Packing Material MP160 / MP180 / MP460 3. Reseat ink cartridge (MP160 / MP180 / MP460) 4. The MP460 may require repair
