Question about GALAXY Microsystems 25.4 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Filtered Ice and Water
The fridge is only 3 yrs old. has worked perfectly. i unplugged it for about a week and a half and put it up for sale. the people who bought it claims its not getting cold. they plugged it in for two hours and said it never got cold. i have a problem believing this.
Normally when a fridge is moved from one location to another it has to be put down for a while for the gas in the compressor to settle to its normal state before it should be plugged. To solve this tell the buyer to allow the fridge a little while probably about a day to settle and then put on the fridge it should function properly if this is done.
If this is not the problem with the fridge then probably in the process of transportation they accidentally bumped the unit against something which might have affected the control board or something. this shouldnt be a liability on your part (unless you arranged transportation).
The buyers should also ensure that the current powering the fridge is sufficient as this happens to be the cause of a lot of refrigerator problems recently.
Hope this solution has been helpful?
