It has to be in a shared network and you need to create a shared network to share all the mail.

How do I allow laptops in the office to be able to use our main printer Sharp MX-C311

You can install the drivers for that printer on the machine(s) needing to print. See if Windows has a compatible driver built in, if not, try the manufacturers website (find "Support"). Also - connect the machine to the network using a network cable or else over WiFi if that is an option for your office. Some newer printers support WiFi right out of the box. I'm not sure what information you need to connect to the printer manually, but if Windows can "see" the printer, the connection is typically seamless and relatively automatic.

We've got the Dlink DES-1008D setup in our office. Since the past 3 weeks, we've been facing disconnection problems. 5 desktop computers, all new and very recent, are connected to this. We've got an...

Ok, the next time when the disconnection occurs. Try the following:

Open command prompt. And try pinging www.google.com, if the ping is successful and you are still unable to access the internet, then you may want to check the proxy settings on your web broswer, or possibly repair/reinstall the browser. You can also try accessing the internet on a different browser.

If you are unable to ping google successfully, then try to ping the IP address of your wifi modem, this is your default gateway. If you are unable to ping this address successfully, then check the cable from the DES-1008D switch to the wifi modem. As a local area connection 'connected' just shows that the link from your PC to switch is fine.

Please try these steps and let me know the results.

Regards..

Not able to connect wifi in my lapopo

In connecting through a wifi, there are two factors to consider. (1) Wireless Router broadcast and (2) Wireless Receiver.

Make sure that your network router is broadcasting wireless internet or wifi. Also, you have to know if you need a pass key or password in order to connect to the wireless network.

Now, given that there is a wifi spot, your laptop should automatically recognize the wifi broadcast and negotiate connection without your intervention. This will only happen IF AND ONLY IF your laptop has a wifi radio receiver and that it is TURNED ON. When it is turned ON, it will connect you immediately if the network has no pass key set. If there is, then you have to enter that key when you try to manually connect it. (Right click on wireless network icon on system tray. Then it should say: Wireless Network Available. Then Click CONNECT)

To turn your wifi radio receiver ON, slide a switch button to ON position depending on your laptop model. If you dont have that kind of switch, look for the wifi icon printed in the keyboard keys. In some laptop, it is in F2. Now Press FN+F2 to turn wifi radio receiever ON and OFF.
