Question about Nelson Sprinkler: Traveling Tractor

I used the sprinkler last night and it worked beautifully. I moved the hose to another location this afternoon and the rear wheels seem to be frozen they will not turn.

Orbit traveling sprinkler won't move wheels turn when in neutral but not on high or low setting worked fine last night now nothing!!


I have a brand new orbit traveling sprinkler and the wheels won't move - they're frozen. The directions say to "Pull out the stopper underneath the sprinkler between the back wheels ..." and there is a white knob attached to a spring. When I try adjusting that, the wheels stay locked, frozen, won't move. What am I doing wrong?

Right rear tire frozen


Handbrake mechanism, brake caliper or brake piston could be partially siezed or possibly rear wheel bearing siezed. If hanbrake was on over night start with that and then work on from there.

The igition seems to be frozen. The battery is good as all the lights, buzzers etc are working. You put the key in the ignition and it won't turn. I've tried moving the steering wheel, made sure the...


It's possible. The parts store sells a small aerosol of deicer made for key holes. I would try this sparingly as there are electrical pieces in there. Good luck

My gps is frozen since ysdtay night.I t shows no movement n its frozen stating univeristy bld.What do I do??I just got it last month & did not buy the protection plan for it..What is the problem


mine was frozen 2. i called support and they helped. first hold the button 2 turn it off for 10 sec. reboot if u had trip ie. address programed in cancel it. That worked. Also not sure if this had anything to do w/ it but my battery was low and the gps powered off. I then plugged it in to the car charger this may have rebooted my gps. It now works fine.

Rear brake sticking


Your saying as you drive it locks and skids? You say as you try to pull out the wheel is shuck and it won't turn? Or your saying that you detect that the wheel is dragging and the wheel turns fine? Is the other rear wheel sticking? The parking brake pedal is it all the way up? With the pedal up are the parking braek cables under the truck going to rear wheels tight or taugt but moving or slack and hanging. As this cable enters the hosing going to the rear wheel about an inch from the housing ( cable Housing ) clamp on a pair of vise grips or other locking pliers and hit them with a hammer towards the rear wheel. As your trying to make the cable go back as much as it's going to. Check both sides as it's possible that thier frozen in the cold weather. It's wise to avoid using the parking break in cold weather as they get mositure in them over time and with them frozen on the brake wil stick. If you find the cables slack with the pedal released and beating them back towards the wheel does'nt seem to be releasing the break you may need to heat the cable with a tourch to free them. The other answer is the rear break came aprt someway and the break shoes are bound up against the drum. The wheel bearing is possible too unless you can tell is the break.

When was the last time the brake fluid was flushed? Spongy/unresponsive brakes can sometimes be due to moisture/air in the brake lines. You can take the wheel off and get someone to push the brake peddle and see if the brake caliper is moving at all. If it is moving, but not enough to stop the wheel, I'd recommend flushing the brake fluid. If the caliper is not moving at all, it could be the caliper itself (but its very unlikely that both would go bad at the same time)
