This happens a lot. Sometimes it's just the hose connection to the wand. If that appears to be the leaking spot, remove the band clamp, take off the hose, and cut off the last 1" of the rubber hose so you get a fresh end. Push the freshly cut end onto the wand, and tighten the band clamp. Did that fix it? If not, you'll need to replace the wand, but they aren't too costly. You'll find some on this page . Good luck! Please rate my solution if helpful, thanks.

The guy has a leak on the Broadcast Lance that snaps onto the tank. Not the hand held spray wand.

Ball valve is leaking

Valve needs to be replaced, if its leaking at the solder joint, you can reheat that and apply flux then resweat the joint with more solder, if its leaking from handle where it attaches to valve body it needs replaced.

Fixed leaking faucet, now handles leak at the base & the water pressure is low

No, air can't get trapped in there. I don't think you did anything wrong. It sounds like the valve or internal parts are worn more than new washers take up for. Tightening down the valve just reduced travel for valve to open fully. Can't think of a fix; where's that joe da plumber?

My baxi combi 100 he plus keeps losing pressure cant find a leak anywhere inside but some water coming outside from expansion pipe?

If you are having a small amount of water loss thru t&p valve then the valve may just be getting old and need relaced,If yours is a typical valve there will be a small handle in the center on the valve face. Open this valve by pulling straight back on handle end. If it's too hard to open dom' t force it. If you can open it then do so 4-5 times in a hurry ad when it closes tap on on the center of valve where the pivot point for valve handle is. Just tap it lightly and see if the leak slows down or stops. If so I would go ahead and replace the valve. Thank you

Changed sand now the multiport valve is leaking at very top?

Is it leaking at the joint between the tank and valve, between the two halves of the valve, or from the center of the valve (around the handle)? If It's either of the first two, you may need to replace the o-ring. Take it apart, and check to make sure the o-ring is in good shape, and seated properly. If the o-ring is flat, oblong, or leaving black on your hands, then you should replace it. If it is leaking around the center of the handle, then you need to replace the o-ring and/or teflon seal on the shaft of the stem assembly (the part the handle connects to. To get to this you need remove the top half the valve, then drive out the pin that holds the handle on. (make a not with direction the handle and the stem are. otherwise you can be 180 degrees of when you put it back together. Hope this helps. If you need further assistance post a reply in the comments, and don't hesitate to leave a good thumb rating if you found this helpful. Thanks, and good Luck!

HELLO THE FAUCET DRIPS AT THE HANDLE AND THE HOT AND COLD SEEM REVERSED

On this valve the hot/cold in reverse is easy enough to fix, but the faucet dripping at the handle is another issue. To reverse the hot and cold, turn off the house water, relieve the pressure by opening a nearby faucet. Once the water stops, remove the handle and faucet cover so you can see the valve. then the four screws that are visible need to be removed. Mark one of the screw holes with a crayon or pencil and then remove by pulling straight out. Once out, inspect the main o-ring right behind where it sits against the valve, (if this is damaged, it might be why the handle area is leaking) then turn the whole assembly clockwise 180 degrees then insert straight back in and insert screws. Tighten screws until snug. Turn water back on before installing cover and handle to check for leaks. If no leaks are found, install cover and handle and check for proper position of hot and cold. If there are leaks, tighten screws in clockwise rotation tightening each screw a quarter turn, then moving to the next one until dripping stops. If dripping is from center of stem, where the handle attaches, you will need to contact Price Pfister to request a replacement. They are very good to work with. Good luck.

There is definitely a problem with the cold valve if it is leaking, but it seems odd that it doesn't leak when it is on. If I was doing this, I would replace both valves.

Installed a new 88976 handle but still have a leak

replacing just the handle cannot fix the leak and common sense should tell you that.... try turning off the water to the diverter (thru access panel on opposit wall or main water valve for the home) and then replacing the stem or cartridge inside the diverter -- this is what controls water temp, pressure, and is responsible for any leaks you may have...

Water leaking from backwash when filter is on

The issue is not the filter, but the valve on the filter. There is usually a gasket that seals the different positions of the valve so water does not leak out. This gasket is probably the issue with your filter.

If you have a two piece valve, has screws holding down the handle section to the bottom of valve, then you may have an easier time fixing this issue. You will need to stop your system, release all the pressure from the filter using the Air Release Valve, or take the lid off the pump if you do not have the release valve, wait for about 30 minutes to ensure pressure is released. Then remove the screws around the valve, taking the handle section off in one piece. Check the bottom of the handle piece, see if there is a "spider gasket" or O-Ring that has gone bad.

How to take handle off of Grohe Lady Lux Cafe-took screw out-handle is stuck

I soaked the connection between the handle and the valve body in a penetrating oil for several hours and eventually used more force than I hoped to use to remove the handle. Once the handle and end cap (part 09 209) were removed, I could see that the valve assembly (part 46 048) was loose which caused water to leak from the seals (part 46 209) between the valve assembly and faucet body. So I tighted the screws that hold the valve assembly to the faucet body and the leaked stopped.
