Hi,

For wireless connection, there are only 2 models available :-

1. NS-WBRDVD
2. NS-BRDVD3

As per my knowledge, no other insignia players have inbuilt Wi-Fi.

If you have any one of the above models, revert and i would tell you the steps unless unfortunately, other models cannot be used with wireless internet.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

    Thanks for your response!!

You need to follow the same steps unless step 3.

OK, at step 3 you need to click on "Network List"
and not "WiFi Protected Setup". You should proceed to
step 4 after you click on Network List.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

    Thanks

I have installed the player into a rack that is built into a wall which I do not have access to the unit without pulling the rack out from the wall which is very difficult. My computers work on the wireless internet so I assumed that the player would find my wireless an automatically connect.

I have installed the player in a wall rack that slides in and out which requires two people to do, My computers connect to my wireless and this unit also is suppose to be wireless so I assumed that it would find my wireless and automatically connect.

My unit is the basement and my router is on the third fllor.

Because Blue-Ray isn't what it's cracked up to be. In fact no TV studio will even consider using one.

The stuttering & freezing whenwhen I watchwatch Netflix? I watch throughth blue Ray player &is hard wired in

Could be issue with your internet provider. Call them and have it look at it. Usually if everything on yourside is good, it could be a hub issue somewhere near you. I had the similar problem once, and I called in my ISP and apparently the hub center in the basement of my complex is having some issue. They fixed in there and it went all awesome after that.

Blue ray disc player will not connect to internet for Netflix use

In assuming you have checked to see if you have internet connection via a separate device, I would check the manual that came with your Blue Ray player to see if there are any troubleshooting methods you can try. If not, check the online forums for the brand of player.

How do I get captions on y netflex movies I get them om all of my other movies

Does Netflix support captions on their content? Typically the device settings (the TV in this case) only displays captions if they are provided by the source (ie cable tv provider, a bluray disk, satellite content, etc). If Netflix does not stream their movies with captions in the content, then your tv (or device) will not be able to display it.

How does one stream netflix via Blu Ray wired to ISP through a tv?

First you have to hook up network cable to Blue Ray player and to router
Next update software in Blue Ray player by going thru your menu in blue ray player to settings
If you have your blue ray player with Netflix app then all
you do is click on app and log in.
And make sure HDMI cable is plugged into TV.
And that should work for you. Any problems write me back.
