Re: I have an old cannon Power shot S200 digital camera...
There are two ways to download the pictures. 1. When you plug in the camera using the USB to the Computer, you should see the same as an External device under the "My Computer" window. When you click on that you should see the folder containing your pictures. You may copy the same from there to the computer.
2. The other way is to install the software using the CD which you must have got with the camers. it should have a program which will import all the pictures to the computer.

No. The only adapters you can get either lose infinity focus or need corrective optics (expensive and reduce image quality) to preserve infinity focussing. The lenses will need to be manually stopped down for metering purposes and the body will only be able to use manual and aperture priority modes.
Also, with modern computer designed optics, using FD lenses on a modern digital SLR is like screwing an old glass bottle on the front and hoping to get sharp images. An exaggeration, perhaps, but you will get significant edge softness and chromatic aberrations and the contrast will be lower than acceptable and truly dreadful with optically corrected adapters.
You can use a Quantaray lens that fits on a Canon EOS film camera body on any Canon EOS camera body - film or digital. Your choice of EOS camera depends on your budget and your needs.
I recommend starting out with a used or refurbished model - let someone else eat the depreciation on the camera. After you have shot with a digital SLR for a while you will have a much better idea what features matter most for your needs and can make a better decision what new(er) model is the best fit for your money. Obviously you know a bit about photography having used a film EOS camera but there are many things that are different about a digital body. One of the biggest differences is that they come out with a new camera several times a year, and a camera body that is just 2-3 years old will be 2-3 generations old, and worth only a small fraction of the price it sold for new - unlike film bodies that held their value much longer.
