Hmmm..well..those are a bit complex..there are screws underneath(usually around 10 to 14 of them)..and then a few under the keyboard, holding the palm rest down.

Remove hard drive for hp pavilion s3220n

Pretty simple. Just dismantle the case of your desk top. most of them will split open so you can leave it standing . There will be about 6 to 8 screws holding this together and a few "snap" type connections that pull apart. Remove the base first. Once inside identify the hard drive. unplug it and remove. Probably two screws holding it in place. Reverse process for installing new one.

Start by depressing the button on the rear panel and sliding off exposing any memory modules.Peer between the lower locating lugs for this panel and you will see that it has revealed two black cross-head screws.Take out the screws and release the small panel. This will now expose the four gold colored anchorage screw for the screen and keyboard. Now unplug any i.d.e, sound and visual harnesses between the two units.Using a long phillips screwdriver, take out the four screws and give a small wiggle. The screen and keyboard will come away from the main desktop, place to one side. Now turning the desktop on it's back release the two cross-head screws underneath and slide the foot off.Now take out the six silver screws from the front of the unit and the two either side of the unit.Their are also two screws concealed underneath the rubber lugs on the rear of the unit, carefully pop these lugs out with a blade or similar and remove screws. The last two screws are black and are located in the small recesses on the top of the desktop outer shoulders.Once all case screws are removed gently release locating clips on top of the rear casing and ease the main casing away from video and pcmcia panel on the side, place to one side. This will now expose several black screws,First release the side cover and put to one side.release the three retaining screws for the hard drive unplug molex(power) connector and i.d.e cable, place to one side. Now unscrew the three black screws on the top retaining plate of the desktop and the two screws on the lower shoulders. You can now gently ease out the entire motherboard assembly unplugging atx connector in doing so.PLEASE NOTE:JOT DOWN THE WHEREABOUTS OF SCREWS FOR RE-ASSEMBLY.

I cracked my screen on a hp G62-140US notebook. It has no screws so how do i change the screen out? I am out of work and can not afford to take it in for repair. Thank You so much.

The LCD screen is secured to the notebook hinges. To access the LCD screen you need to remove the bezel around the edge of the screen. There are screws hidden behind plastic screw covers. The Bezel may also be secured by retaining clicp and double sided tape.

How do you go about upgrading the memory of a hp omnibook 900 laptop

easiest way is go online to hp product support. ask for upgrade of memory for your laptop. Buy memory at local computer store. Laptops are very compact, and time consuming. If there is a local IT college near you, I recommend you take the laptop, and memory there. You can have a student install memory for you at little cost .

hard? do u mean the harddrive? well the harddrive is slightly slimmer on laptops and looks like the box, harddrives are usually extremely internal depending on the laptop and can be found under the keyboard(open from the bottom).
