The radio may have dust inside which affects it function and should be clean, you should get the radio check to see if dust is inside of it.

Welch Allyn CP200 startup screen fine, then 3 beeps and screen changes to coloured bars. Reset button makes no difference. I note that the battery is missing. Is that the fault?

If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.
I do recall that I've seen details about this ECG machine by the above site, long ago. Search for it by type in the brand name 'Welch Allyn'; in the search box at the top right of the Display Window of that site.

Can the freq 156,600 be put in this radio if so how do i do it

No, 156.600 MHz is not one of the 27 VHF frequencies available in the CP100 VHF radio. (If by chance you have a typo and you meant to ask about the common frequency of 154.600 MHz, aka green dot, it is available in the CP100 VHF.)

Here is a link to a website with the user guide: The frequency chart is on page 34. Programming instructions begin on page 20.

Best regards.

Will motorola t6500's or t5300's work with cp100's?

No, the TalkAbout family radio service/GMRS radios and the CP100 business radio have no frequencies in common. Sorry.

A CP100 ECG. Replaced battery. Still won't turn

could be the charging circuit. You need to make sure the new battery is actually charging through the machine. You can use a volt meter to do this. If you need more assistance you can email me at

The audio on one radio is muffled. How can I fix it?

The problem is likely one of two things: 1) something is covering the speaker holes, or there is debris in the holes or 2) you have a bad speaker.

FYI: This radio is a repairable version of the TalkAbout closely related to the business model CP100. You can send it to a repair facility to have it repaired. (Typically around $69) You can google CP100 repair to find a Motorola shop capable of the repair, if needed.

Trying to link up cp100 to cp110 radio

I don't have enough information to fully help you, however, it would appear your CP100s have the interference eliminator code enabled and the CP110s do not. If you know how to reprogram the CP100, you can simply turn the code to zero. (The dealer who sold you the new radios should have gathered info regarding the programming of your existing units, then they would have matched out of the box.)

How do I Reset my T5000 2 way radio to factory default

The T5000 Talkabout radio default settings are not the same as the CP100 and CLS. The CLS and the CP100 UHF are capable of being programmed to match one another on several frequencies, however, the TalkAbout T5000 is not capable of any of them.

The Talkabout radios, as a general rule, are limited to FRS and GMRS frequencies. The CP100 and CLS are from the business and light consumer divisions. They will do most of the common 56 UHF business frequencies.

If you would like to look at the frequency charts yourself, here are some links.

Here are the frequencies possible on the T5000
