First connect your treo, when the active sync is set you should then see your device in my computer

browse in the device and locate the pictures, then copy them into your pc.

Thats how I do it on my phone.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I would like to automatically rename jpg files with the date and time (YMD HS) they are taken. There are a number of downloads available but free downloads have me reluctant to try any listed.

Two options for this: 1- In Explorer on top of file window, R click (View) - choose details - check - (date picture taken) - move it up on the list - close list. 2- R click on any file - click rename - add info that you wish - close option, also you can do this with all files on any window by R click menu (Edit) - select all. . good luck.

Iam unable to view the pictures I took with my former Easyshare. It says unreconized-file format. Is there a way I can view the pictures taken with my old camera?

Many cameras will not display pictures that were taken with a different type of camera. You should still be able to view those pictures on the original camera, a computer, or a digital photo frame.

If I may make a gentle suggestion, use your camera to take pictures. To display them, use something better suited for the task.

I need the plug in for Windows Media player so I can load and view photos

separate plug ins are not required unless you have the full access to your player. just install the windows media player 10 in your pc and check to make sure that option to enable picture support on devices on wpm has been enabled. from this menu choose to add pictures from a folder and find them with the search of your computer. click the library tab, choose all pictures , highlight the item you want to copy and give them to the synchronising list. add the device as your destination in your device pane. start synchronising and after it is complete, unplug the device and you will be able to see it .

Suncing Media, Photos, Videos and MP3

The Palm Desktop Manager, which is free on the Palm website, can sync all your media to and from your phone. Here is the site, just choose the right OS for your computer.

http://www.palm.com/us/software/palmsoftware.html

When you sync your phone to your PC, it will ask you initially for what you want to sync. You can also do this anytime when you open up the Palm Desktop Manager on your PC. You can drag and drop your MP3s to the music folder on the Palm Desktop Manager and then sync it to your phone. This is the easiest way to get the MP3s on your phone.

You can also move photos/MP3s from your phone to your PC by using a 1GB SD card (the TREO 650 cannot accept any size larger than 1GB, trust me!). Copy your photos/videos/MP3s from your phone to the SD card and then take the card out of your phone. Use a USB Card Reader and connect it to your PC to read the SD card you just removed.

Good luck.

Unable to hotsync treo 600 with my computer

What is happening with the Sync? Does your PC and the Palm Desktop Manager recognize your TREO 600? If not, the issue may be that somehow the driver for your device was removed. I would suggest upgrading to the latest version of the Palm Desktop Manager and try plugging in your TREO 600 again and try synching.

Here is the location for the free software from Palm. http://www.palm.com/us/software/palmsoftware.html

You also have to make sure that the setting on the Palm Desktop Manager is the same as the type of cable you are using. If it is a USB cable, have that setting on your PC's Palm Desktop Manager Hotsync settings.

Help

it may be an issue with your treo saving the pictures as a proprietary format (a custom format, that can't be opened except with special software.)

I suggest going to your service-provider's store-front and asking about it.

hi, on the hotsync software (palm desktop) there normally is an option were you can decide what to sincronise and what not. if you go to hotsync (on the top next to tools)and then choose personalise, then look for the calendar and click change, choose the one you think is correct. dave ;)
