Question about RCA Audio Players & Recorders
The "amp error" indicates an internal amp failure. If the receiver does not play any sound at all then the internal amp is most likely bad. Try unplugging everything from it first and see if it will power up ok then on its own. If it does then start plugging speaker wires and cables back in one by one untill the error comes up again.
