Memory full N91 4GB..when switch on memory full and can't received and reply message.

I'm using Nokia N-91 and now its giving
severe problems. My Phone memory has 10mb free space and my hard drive has 3gb free space but it always give message that "memory is full" and then get stuck. m very worried. Music is also not supported and if i try to send sms is says " feature is not supported". Tell me what to do?

Just use formatting and flashing to solve your all problems
RESETTING PHONE BY NOKIA SECRET CODES (steps 1 and 2)

1st step : SOFT RESETTING NOKIA MOBILE
Take backups of ur phone books,calender and others, then simply enter the code
*#7780#

2nd step : HARD RESETTING BY CODE
Just enter the code-
*#7370#
Then it asks for security code enter ur security code whose deafault value is 12345
NOTE:
The battery must be full or the charger has to be connected to the phone so that it does not run out of power and make the phone unusable.
Take backup of the contacts and other important data in MMC .

FLASHING

3rd step :FLASHING : ANOTHER METHOD FOR HARD FULL FORMATTING

This step is known as flashing of phone. Always do this step at last (after 1st 2 steps are over and u are not successfull)

1. Make sure you phone is fully charged. (At minimum 3/4 of bettery should be left)

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).

3. Switch-off your mobile phone.

4. Press and hold these three keys together

-Green dial key,-Star key (*)-Three key (3)

then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.

Do not let go the three keys until you see the “formatting” screen displayed

5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your mobile will now be at its original factory settings (It will reach the same state as that in when you purchased it).

Typically phones will allocate only a certain amount of memory towards messages (so the memory doesn not become over saturated with them, leaving no memory for the phone to operate). Try clearing out your sent box and non-essential messages in your inbox.

The phone memory of the phone is full.
There are several steps to free memory.

First try to remove attachments in mail and files received in inbox through bluetooth. This will help you to recover some memory.
You can also change the messages on memory card instead of phone memory. To do this, open messaging, select options, other options, memory and change the memory from phone to memory card.
Second remove unwanted software and games from phone memory
If nothing solves the problem, you need to format the phone. First, take a backup of your contacts and messages through Nokia PC Suite. Then format the phone by dialing *#7370# and press yes. But it will remove data from phone memory and free the memory. Then you can restore the data from pc suite.
Reply in case of any problem.

Why is my message always tells me that my memory is full delete some messages to receive new message, when my message on the inbox is only 5 sometimes less

Emptying the inbox is not all you may need to empty. Sent items, Deleted items, past calander events are all talking up space, might clean those out

Obviously if your message memory or more precisely Phone memory is full you wont be able to receive more messages and probably your phone will also slow down thats why its taking time to start up. Here is what you can do :

Try clearing your phone's internet cache and Cookies if you use internet as they tend to take a lot of space. Also delete some other temp files.

And for messages use memory card's memory as the primary memory and let your phone memory free. You can do this by changing the message settings in your phone from Phone Memory to Memory card.

I HAVE A SHARP UX-A450 FAX MACHINE AND WANT TO EMPTY THE FAX MEMORY.

MEMORY IS FULL / SEE MANUAL (alternating messages)
The memory is full. You may have too many messages recorded in the answering machine. To erase messages, see below. This may occur during fax reception if too much data is received before the pages can be printed out. If faxes have been received to memory because printing is not possible (an additional message will indicate the problem), resolve the problem so that printing can continue (see Substitute Reception to Memory on page 66). If you are attempting to transmit from memory, see If the memory becomes full on page 57. If you are copying, see If MEMORY IS FULL appears on page 67.

Erasing received messages:
It is important to erase received messages after you listen to them to ensure
that the memory does not become full.
? Erasing all messages: To erase all messages, press FUNCTION, DELETE, and then START/MEMORY.
? Erasing a single message: To erase a single message, press DELETE while the message is being played.

If the memory becomes full while the document is being scanned, MEMORY
IS FULL and SEE MANUAL will alternately appear in the display.
? Press START / MEMORY if you want to transmit the pages which have been stored up to that point in memory. The remaining pages will be ejected from the feeder. After transmission, the memory will be cleared and you can transmit the remaining pages. You will also need to transmit the page which was being scanned when the memory filled up.
? Press STOP if you want to cancel the entire transmission.

SOLUTION TO RECEIVING FILES ON YOUR MEMORY CARD.
You cannot receive files on your memory card directly.

You are to receive it on your phones memory, then you move it to you memory card.

You ensure your phones memory is totally empty so you can receive your incoming files.

SOLUTION TO SEEING YOUR MAIL SENT
Go to messages,
select the message settings,
select the message sending option,
Select save and send.

once this is done, you will be able to view your sent mails in your outbox.
