DVD does not play only used it a couple of times... no warranty anymore this thing is practically new.. I think Zenith should recall all these pieces of.. ....####*8''"!!! and return our moneys and stop beating around the bush

    SAME PROBLEM

I have the same one. My dvd player only plays some then spits out others. It's 2 years old. I can't remember the price because it was a gift, but it wasn't cheap I'm sure!

It dose not read dvd's, the vcr works fine.

VCR fine. Won't read DVD's and includes ones that are finalized using the same recorder. Barely used. Spend $180. Out of Warranty and LG won't extend support. It's a real cheating.

I have the exact same issue, DVD don't play. The VCR works & the cds will play on DVD side, but it will not play DVD. Warranty is expired and we barely used it.

How to convert VCR to DVD

no easy way to do this unfortunately. You either need to connect your VCR to a DVD recorder and record it directly onto DVD or use a device such as this http://www.dx.com/p/easycap-usb-video-capture-adapter-5707 to connect your VCR to your computer and record it onto your computer that way.

How do I record from a videotape to a dvd

You need the cables to hook your VCR to your PC and also a decent Video program that allows you to import a file (The Videotape recording) to the program, and burn it from there.
