That's a gif image..any good image viewer will do the trick, even a web browser. You'll need to make a settings change to browser on how to handle image files.

Where to find free online manual for Presario SR1710NX, product # EL426AA

Renaldo,

HP Support > Compaq Presario SR1700 series of Desktop PC's > Manuals page,

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodClassId=-1&contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=64255&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=1814722

Under the subheading - Quick jump to manuals by category...
,click on Service and maintenance information

Now click on Upgrading and Servicing Guide
(29 Mar 2005)

This is a PDF file. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.
After you click on the file name (Upgrading and Servicing Guide), it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.

Scroll your mouse cursor to the bottom/middle. The ghosted out navigation guide will appear. Go to the far right in the guide, and click on the Adobe PDF icon.
(When your mouse cursor is on it, - Show Adobe Reader Tool Bar - appears briefly)

At the top is the Zoom Out icon, ( - ), and the Zoom In icon ( + )
The Zoom Out icon increases the view size if you click on it.
The Zoom Out icon decreases the view size.

The PDF file page number box is at the top, to the right of the Down Arrow.

A) Pages 5 and 6 - Opening the Computer Case
B) Pages 8, 9, 10, and 11 - Replacing a Drive

I can't pull up info I need to show you, with using an SR1700NX.
I'm going to use the SR1720NX instead,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=1815875&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

Click on - How to - in the list.
(No thanks on feedback)
Click on - Replacing / Adding hardware

Click on - Replacing the Hard Drive
When finished go back, and click on - Upgrading Memory (RAM)
Click on - View a video about installing additional memory

Plus videos on installing an IDE harddrive, SATA harddrive, and ram memory,

My kids have put a picture on my desktop and i don't have no icons on it I'm trying to get the icons back on my desktop

Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and right-click once. Then you should have a "Show Desktop" option or un-check the "Hide Desktop icons" Click that and all your icons should re-appear. Unless of course they actually deleted your icons :'

If you post it any where else besides in About Me Box it is not going to work. MySpace is picky about things like that.

Right click on desktop>New>Shortcut

Follow the steps, and remeber to put http://www.ebay.com instead of www.ebay.com, or else it won't recognize it as a web address.
