A customer came over to my house to drop off his that would not boot(lit for 2-3 seconds, no fans) I checked all the usual stuff then while checking HP web site for info noticed a small link, "see if yours is eligible for free repair"

Once you press PowerOn, press F8 (I understand you have problems with Windows OS, right?) to enter into SafeMode. From there, you could deactivate hibernating mode...
...Or, maybe it's time to re-install the preffered operating system, because yours is broken... (in this case, don't forget to save your working files from laptop)

Hp pavilion ze1115 stuck on hibernating..

Open Control Panel, Power, power settings, change power settings to high performance, Disable Hibernation, sleep. When your laptop is not in use shut it down and unplug. It will last longer and a boot everyday will reset the laptop.

Hi my computor just recently went into hibernation mode and it won't turn to my original screen.I'll tell you what happend. It went to a black screen last night and i don't know if it crashed or not because...

when your computer boots up press F8 after the boot screen, its easy to miss the short period you can press this. This should prompt a screen which allows you to choose how to boot windows. Booting windows normally (without restoring hibernation state) or in your last good configuration that worked (it saves restore points pretty much every day your on it and will revert to that restore point) will be your best bets. Hope this helps, let me know if it gets tricky.

What do you mean shutting down the hibernating mode? Stop it happening when the battery goes low, or shutting down into hibernate mode?
