I'm planning on tearing out the factory head unit in my 89 Probe, and
putting in one of the mentioned head units. I've replaced the 4 6.5"
speakers with Infinity References several months ago, and installed an MTX
752 amp with a 12" Cerwin-Vega sub. I've been happy with everything for the
most part, but the whole thing needs to be cleaned up a little. Anyone have
any opinions on the players? Good or bad points about each one?
Thanx!

I bought a Pioneer DEH-445 about a month ago. It's pretty decent in my
opinion. If you ever plan on getting a CD changer, spend the extra
bucks and get a DEH-545 or DEH-645. It does have pre-amp outputs on the
back, which is quite nice. My unit went in with no problem; setup was a
breeze, and the 445 does have the detachable face security alarm on it
(which I have yet to wire up).
I don't, however, know anything about the CQ-DPX60.
Hope this helps,
Dave
