Question about Sony KP-65WS500 65" Rear Projection Television
Try this, it works. I have the same set and have had the same problem for over a year until it got to where I couldn't see a picture. I call a repairman and was told the tubes are bad or going bad and would cost around $1200 to replace all three. He then did a quick fix (I looked over the shoulder) adjustment and said it could last a day, a week, a month or two years. Cost for service call and the adjustment $140. It lasted 3 months, when a telephone pole was hit by a car and knocked out the power. When the power came back on my problem was back. I did the adjustment and its back up and running. One note: make sure you turn it ever so slightly or you will turn the tv off and could damage your tv. Good Luck with it.
