E-Machines T6528 PC Desktop

5.1 vs. 4.1 speakers.

posted by ingavar on Apr 21, 2008

Sorry but now I'm perplexed.

I found a typical connection on the Soundblaster website and it showed up to a 4.1 system using TWO outputs, which the T6528 has and it shows them using THREE outputs, which the T6528 does not have for the 5.1 speakers.

I think maybe yours has a different onboard sound card?

I also feel that a 4.1 should do him just fine as this is basically for music and not gaming.

Thanks for your help and if I'm nuts please feel free to let me know.

Thanks,

Pete

I did see that Logitech has a speaker set that converts the two output setup to 5.1. I'm going to steer him that way.

Thanks for all of your help.

Pete
