Timer is ok but oven not working

Nancy,
I understand that you are having trouble with your oven, model# CPLEF398DCE, not working/heating, even though the display screen is showing everything to be working fine. I suggest you give your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by switching the circuit breaker off, that the oven is on, for 3-5 minutes. Once the 3-5 minutes has passed, switch the circuit breaker back on. The first thing you will need to do, is to set the time. You will do this by entering in the time and pressing start. Turn the oven on. If you are still having trouble with the oven not working/heating, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician to come and diagnose the oven, to see why it will not work correctly.

-Best Regards-

I used the self-clean for the first time and my oven door is still locked and the display doesn't work at all. Model #YKESS908. What can I do to unlock the oven door? I have checked the circuit...

Hi

You can set the unit on self cleaning and then after 15 minutes stop the cycle, let it cool down for an hour and then open the door. If the issue remains then you'll have to replace the door lock assembly, then you can open the door with a coat hanger by pulling the latch towards you. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

LG Range LRE30453ST quit working. Breaker in panel shows appropriate voltage rating, range receptacle shows appropriate voltage rating, and power cord connection shows appropriate voltage rating. The...

I can tell you aren't familar with house wiring. So we will start from the beginning. Circuit breakers are rated by the AMPERAGE that it can handle. When there is a current surge above the rated AMPERAGE the breaker is supposed to trip. When the breaker trips it doesn't always trip all the way to the side, sometime it looks okay so shut the circuit breaker off and reset it and then do it again to make sure you did it right the first time. If that does not cure your problem you might have blown your thermal fuse (Item #5016) or blown the power control board (Item #5070)

But since the display screen is also completely blank it could be one of the PCBs in the control panel.

After going through the self-cleaning process, the oven cooling fan will not turn off and now I cannot use my oven.

The range's electronics may simply need to reset themselves. Go to your home's circuit breaker panel and turn OFF the circuit breaker for the range. Leave it Off for 12-15 minutes and then reset the circuit breaker. Hopefully, the 12-15 minute timeout allowed the range's electronics to reset themselves.

Oven will not work only the burners are working. Could it be the electrical panel. I've already checked the circuit breakers

Oven not working causes are;

Oven element open circuited - need to test for continuity;
Burnt wiring at oven element terminals;
The electronic timer is in auto. mode - it must be in manual mode for the oven to work.

HI. This is a control fault, that may be corrected by simply shutting down the appropriate circuit breaker for 5 minutes. This will DE-energize the control board. Once the 5 minutes have passed, simply re-introduce power to the unit. If the unit continues to produce the error, this will confirm that the main control board has failed. it should be replaced asap.

Whirlpool Wall Oven sometimes power fails in middle of a baking session. Display goes blank and oven will not work for 10-20 minutes. Then oven will come back on with a PF readout.

Could be several things; 1. Electrical connections in oven are loose. 2.The circuit breaker for the oven could be failing. 3. The electronic control is failing. Make sure when oven is operating, the cooling fan is operating. If the cooling fan is not working, the electronic control will overheat and shut down.
