Question about Adapters.com Genica Realtek A-8100 PCI Network Interface Card
Do you remember the name of the update that you downloaded from Microsoft. I am having the same problem and would like to get this fixed.
I believe it was the following...
Realtek Semiconductor Corp - Networking - TRENDnet TEW-421PC/TEW-423PI 802.11g Wireless Cardbus/PCI Adapter
Installation date: 2/5/2008 12:07 PM
Installation status: Successful
Update type: Optional
Realtek Semiconductor Corp Networking software update released in October, 2007
Help and Support:
I just checked on Microsofts Windows Update again, and there is another optional update for the Realtek. This only partially fixed my problem - we've also had to adjust the channel our wireless DSL router uses; our cordless phone was interferring with my signal. Now that I've adjusted the channel on the router, I haven't dropped my signal once in more than 3 days. Good luck. Hope this helps.
